Our award-winning free legal education project, Streetlaw, helps to empower individuals by demystifying the law.
We deliver a range of of free, informative and interactive legal presentations in seven UK cities.
Streetlaw sessions cover a wide range of issues and topics, tailored for audiences including schoolchildren, entrepreneurs, community groups, prisoners and ex-offenders, and people affected by homelessness.
We encourage our audience members to participate and think critically, through activities such as role plays, group discussion and quizzes. The format allows for audience members to develop their own opinions in a respectful and controlled environment.
The sessions are delivered by trained BPP University Law School students, under the supervision of qualified lawyers from the BPP Pro Bono Centre.
We can arrange presentations in and around our law schools in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Leeds, Liverpool, London and Manchester. Please email here with your enquiry.
